  • Re: Ramp- yoga - Randy - thanks - You know a lot of that is what we did in high-school and warm ups for cheerleading. Stretching & stuff. Missy's PT is using some Yoga stress reduction with her and Pilates - I did that on the monkey bars at school! LOL! I try to do some exercises I've seen here at home at night & morning. I think the stretch helps my FM - since the muscles just KNOT up! Meditation & relaxation is what I want to do at the college. - by: rampartwatch stress reduction

  • looking for people who do Pilates/Yoga - looking for people who do pilates/yoga by: bodyflo98 03/25/03 10:43 am EST I have created a new work out mat that has very low impact to the bones, it moves with the body while you workout. I am trying to find a fair value for the mat only because they are being sold over seas in larger sizes for around 500.00 each. I have condensed this mat down to use in the work out world, and I am wondering if any of you might have an idea of what its value is. Currently it has cost me to make it 250.00 with buying all my supplies retail, but if I sold it for around 100.00 with free shipping do you think it will work. Also if any of you live in the NY, NJ or CT areas I would be willing to let you see it and try it out if you can give me some feed back. Once they are ready to go I will be offering them at a very low rate for those who join the market testing faze. thanks, BodyFlo98 & love your body today! • Need people doing pilates and yoga - I am doing market testing on a workout mat. It is a low impact mat which I need feed back on. If there is anyone serious about trying this mat out please email me. I only have 5 mats left which I will sell below retail cost. Remember this is a test mat, I am working on getting marketing for. I have several which are ready to ship but would like to have people who do lots of floor excerises to test them out for the company first. thanks, BodyFlo98 Degrees, & love your body. - by: bodyflo98

  • Yoga, regarding de-listing.... ..lol Extend the bid price grace period for all National Market issuers from 90 calendar days to 180 calendar days and provide an additional 180 calendar day grace period for those National Market issuers able to demonstrate compliance with the core National Market initial listing criteria. Maintain the initial 180 calendar day bid price grace period for all SmallCap issuers, but extend the bid price grace period for SmallCap issuers demonstrating compliance with the core SmallCap initial listing criteria from 180 to up to 540 days (approximately 18 months). Compliance with this standard will be verified every 180 days. • Re: Yoga -- - Interesting strategy you have. It just might work. But its not my strategy. I look for hyped up stocks that have risen for no discernably valid reason, and then short them. Its served me admirably well so I continue to do it. I suppose if I were to follow your strategy I would have left some of my MBAY short open. Then if it started to move higher again I would be alerted to get ready to short MBAY again. It won't be necessary though. I keep an eye on it (as you may have noticed). - by: yogalad
  • Yoga -- - yoga -- your reasoning here is quite rational and in the long-run, MBAY should come around. In the mean-time.... don't ya hate having to sit on a loser? One of my personal pet-peeves is 'dead-money' ie waiting for an investment to roll-around and pay off. Fortunately it has paid off enough times that my patience has grown over the years... but it still bugs me. My strategy for the past few years has been to just sell half of a position that I feel I am justified holding even if it goes down 30-50%! When the stock moves my way, then my open position will usually catch my eye and I can 'double-up' when the price-action begins to look favorable again. If you still own any MBAY it's gotta be buggin' you too. Do you have any mental or trading strategies you use to help alleviate the pain of holding a sizable loser? You've been around for a while I know and I'm very interested in your response - by: Bowlerman9

  • Hershey: Palm Beach - Palm Springs #3 - For someone who works with chocolate every day, Huff was slim. "I don't eat sweets," he admitted. "But I love the smell. Especially in the spring or summer, there's the smell of chocolate and peanut butter from the Reese's factory [Hershey Foods is contracted to produce Reese's peanut butter cups at a separate factory space]. It's fun to work with this. We have a peppermint [salt] scrub, and you can follow that up with a chocolate fondue wrap. "So it would be a Peppermint Patty." I rolled over and nestled my forehead into a headrest. I learned the Huffs have a six-month-old son named Liam who gets massages on a daily basis. "Infant massages are good for colicky babies," Huff said. "The touch alone helps them with bowel movements. We also do baby yoga. We touch his toes to his nose, making sure he has a range of motion. It helps with circulation." This was a massage with a message. CD & P Health Products Inc. of New Jersey creates all cocoa scent ingredients used in the spa. For example, with the - by: bradreesecom
  • Hershey: Palm Beach - Palm Springs #2 - Conversely, at Hershey, I saw myself as the inspiration for the 1975 Hot Chocolate hit "You Sexy Thing." "Chocolate is truly an aphrodisiac," Wayland-Smith said. "Obviously when taken internally. We don't have people running around here sighing, 'Oh, I'm in love!' But it has been proven that when taken internally, dark chocolate is rich in antioxidants, to help stave off cancer. We're just using it more from an aromatherapy standpoint. It gives you the warm fuzzies." Before my spa treatment, I slipped into a white robe and sandals. I felt more like Milton Berle in L.A. than Milton Hershey in P.A. Clients have the option of hanging out in the "Quiet Room" before, after or during a treatment. I did not go into the Quiet Room. I was intimidated by a half-dozen women sitting around in white robes with their hair up. Cakes, coffee, tea and some mean hot chocolate is served in the room, modeled after Milton Hershey's billiard room. When I lived in New York, I didn't tell people I was from New York, I am from Austin. Why can't the two Georges be proud of their Northeastern Heritage. There is nothing to be ashamed of for being a nutmegger. Also, don't we have enough to be proud of without poaching other States' heroes? Houston, Austin, I can't argue with you on their contributions, but they were not from Texas. What about Crockett, he gave his life at the Alamo, but he was a Tennessean. As far as growing up in the Midland area, my mother-in-law is from there, and I have never looked at the place the same way since. - by: mostdestructivebovine

  • Re: hands shake!! - I wish you well. When you start getting nervous take 3 deep breaths slowly. If that doesn't calm you, take two more. When you get home, sit down for 10 minutes and do deep breathing exercises. You can find them in most Yoga books, or go to www.yogajournal.com, then to the pranayama exercises. Those breathing exercises will rejuvenate you. Good luck! - by: splitnhaf
  • Re: hands shake!! - How old are you? Do you have Parkinsons? Or do you only shake when you get nervous? Why do you get nervous? What kind of situations? If there is nothing physically wrong, experience itself will quam your nerves. But you might also stop coffee, speed, and chocolate, tabacco, cokes, soft drinks and sugar. On the positive side, start moving. Walk, run, play ball, swim, do pushups, squats, dance. Move. And then work on doing things that take time to learn, that become an achievment, like Yoga, tai chi, the martial arts. Karate, Ba Gua, Judo, they'll help you get rid of your anxiety. Don't bolster yourself with herbs or any other crutches. That's the first step to addiction. Everyone starts out scared. Take a course in public speaking. Join Toastmasters. When you realize that everyone else is just as nervous as you are . . . in the beginning . . . and that by dealing with your fears they melt away, your on the road to becoming what you were meant to become. • THANK YOU FOR THIS WAR - THANK YOU FOR THIS WAR - WE NEAR MUFFED IT There are two things I like to see more than anything else in the world--- movies with the Three Stooges, and the flow of human blood. How do I know it's human blood? That's a dumb question. If it comes from a man or women what else would it be? Now of course you're wondering, what's wrong with this strange, sadistic nut case? Nothing at all. Some people like wrestling, some like playing tennis, and some like Yoga meditation. I happen to like seeing the three Stooges slapping each other around, and watching human blood flow. (other human's blood, not mine) in wartime. To each his own, I always say. I feel, therefore, that it's entirely apropos to thank the people who are making this war with Iraq (and others that follow) possible. I always give credit where credit is due. So, first of all, I would like to tender a sincere thanks to President George Bush, who more than anyone else, has made this war possible. I'll just quickly address the problem you're having regarding the BSG not noticing so many things. I think that's why God made woman, because he knew he had messed up and needed a back up unit for men. My BSG is a great guy and often very thoughtful, but there are times men are so obtuse. They just don't see the world the same way we do. They are from another planet and speak a different language most of the time. And i don't think multi-tasking the way we do is on of their capabilities. So maybe it is just a moonfunk you're going through. I am sure your BSG doesn't have a clue that those things bother you. Maybe he was just worried that you were having too much fun without him or was a little jealous that he missed all the fun. If you're not sure what's bothering you, maybe you could write yourself a little list. On one side put all the things that are good and right in your life on the other p - by: katzenevi

  • Pilates - Oldest Living Disciple Of Pilates Tells All By John Briley Special to The Washington Post Tuesday, March 11, 2003; Page HE01 I confess. It does me no credit, but I looked to have sport with 79-year-old Romana Kryzanowska. How could a woman billed as the oldest living disciple of Joseph Pilates, the maddeningly particular German developer of the eponymous core fitness discipline that has exploded in popularity, not be an easy target of ridicule? Be honest. Would you have expected the self-anointed empress of a strenuous exercise routine, who generally holds court at Drago's Gymnasium in New York, to be anything but a stern, humorless dominatrix brimming with narcissism and defensive of her late mentor? But by the time she finished answering my first question, she had me in her thrall. Not only didn't she take sufficient offense at my questions to bar me from attending the Pilates class she taught last month at Goucher College outside Baltimore. • sayhitodan and engynear Allow me. - As a former employee of Health and Fitness corporation back in the early 80's ( Incase you did not know that was the original company before converting to to Bally's Totla Fitness. I can first hand tell you that you are both wrong in your calculations about renewal fees. First of all some older contracts ( such as my own ) are of a fixed lower renewal rate, I persononally pay only $49 per year been a meber since 1978 when it was Health and Tennis. The newer contracts allows Bally's to increase annual dues by 10% each year as they did for my wife's renewal. she now pays $179 per year that's about $15 per month, but it is paid on a yearly basis NOT monthly. Some people may NT renew when their contract expires, but may renew 11 months later or 6 months later depending on their renewd interest in working out. So it is very difficult even for Bally's to calculate income from expected renewal fees. Further more, renewal fees are NOT calculated as part of each club's quotas or monthly goals if you will. • Re: F'edman0666 - LOL, Your right yogalad, Anyone who puts a market order in on MBAY is just asking to be taken to the cleaners. With the liquidity this stock has they can raise the price easily on a market order. All I can say is for low volume stocks always use a limit order. Chris - by: chr17170
  • Astonishing performance - MBAY can actually tack-on a 3% loss TODAY?!?! Wow f'edman, this is more than ROFLMAO! You keep buying, I'll keep crying . . with laughter. your pal, yogalad - by: yogalad

  • Re: Nice to know/oncecapone - I agree with spiritbreath oncecapone - Your posts are becoming obtuse. Shorter and to the point would be appreciated. And I bet the giggling 8th graders will have to look up obtuse to see what it means. - by: yoga_girl_76
  • Re: Yoka: Guys are 8th graders - I agree Val. I'm using ignore liberally now and it's alot more pleasurable reading only relevant posts and ignoring the trash talkin' pimple faced teenie boppers getting their acting macho and getting their jollies off holed up in their bedroom behind a computer screen with some napkins. I suggest you use ignore liberally as well. -  Re: Yogo, still waiting for your comment - I would say that even if Nasdaq is allowing an extra period of grace before delisting companies it doesn't change what they are: piece of companies. ******** Bottomline- the only reason your back is hurting is from getting bent over repeatedly by this stock. Or did you think we wouldn't remember that you too were too stupid to sell the stock after it had run up unaccountably 1000%! - by: yogalad
  • Hey Degenerate - How is $5 looking? As Cher once said . . . If I could turn back time, If I could find a way, I'd dump these shares so fast, I'd be a winner today. - by: yogalad
  • Re: Price up incase no one noticed! Duh! - God help us all if MBAY is a stand-in for the American economy. As a matter of fact with Bush-Chimp running things I think it is!!! - by: yogalad
  • Re: Funny how they can drop the price - At this rate it will be Nasdaq running the show as they move to enforce the 30-day minimum $1 share price. 1:4 Reverse split soon coming to a stock near you. At last f'edman will see this stock soar, lol. - by: yogalad
  • F'edman0666 - That must have been your market buy order that went off at 0.99c even while it was trading .92 x .95. Dude they always do that to market orders. What a fool you are! What was it that happens to fools and their money . . .? - by: yogalad
  • Re: MBAY fighting the market - . . . then lost. Oh well. Maybe MBAY will get back above a dollar before they get a delisting notice from Nasdaq. I sure hope so. - by: yogalad
  • Re: More Profile Information - would you just shut the f*ck up and decide which side you're on you stupid hypocritical loser! Long or short?! - by: yogalad
  • MBAY fighting the market - You never get 100% of the market moving the same direction. With today's powerful rally in Nasdaq MBAY once again proves this rule. - by: yogalad
  • subzero - try making sense for once in your life. - by: yogalad
  • f'edman - Guess who's LHAO at you?? I see a .50 sign on MBAY. I'd consider going long at .25. - by: yogalad
